Truespirit Racing
HISTORY:
Truespirit Racing was formed in 2001 after my third come back from cancer. My good friends Ed Bonnani and Jim Coates financed my come back and after two races in the 9 car, decided to step up to the very competitive 1600 class. They bought a car, financed the program and together we raced the 2004 SCORE desert series taking 6th in class and winning the prestigious Toyota Milestone award. For that, I will forever be grateful.
PRESENT:
In the time since the 2004 season, the Chenowth 9 car has been re-built and outfitted with the best of everything. Originally built by myself and Brian Stewart in 1987 as the Challenger class, the class 9 car personifies the grassroots heritage of off-road racing. The Truespirit Racing team consists of friends, family and businesses enabling Truespirit Racing to take our passion of off-road racing to a bigger goal, the cure for cancer.
